I am very fortunate to have Usha garu as my girls’ Kuchipudi teacher. She has a very friendly attitude towards kids and goes out of the way to connect with them. Initially, my girls were apprehensive to join Kuchipudi classes but everything changed after the ‘magical’ trial class with Usha garu. Now, they thoroughly enjoy the art form and eagerly wait to attend her classes. She’s been teaching my daughters for over a year now and they’ve already performed at numerous events. My daughter has been learning kuchipudi from Smt Usha garu for over a year. Usha garu is such a passionate and dedicated teacher who also makes classes so enjoyable that kids are looking forward to her classes. She is so friendly with the kids yet makes them accountable with homework videos. She takes the time to go through each video patiently and corrects each kid for their position, mudras and expressions. She takes time to explain the bhavam(meaning) of each song to make sure kids give the right expressions. Her bonding with students is immensely strong as she treats them like her own children. We feel very fortunate to have her as our daughter’s guru!

My daughter has been learning Kuchipudi since she was 5 years old. We are very lucky to have Usha Ma’am as her dance teacher . She is so talented , taking care of each and every child’s improvement. We are from a different background , my daughter can’t speak Telugu but Usha makes them understand the song so well that reflects in their performance. My daughter loves to dance as she loves her Usha Ma’am . We are so grateful to Usha Ma’am for being there always as their pillar of strength, support and inspiration.

Usha gaaru is very talented and dedicated dance guru. She is very knowledgeable and has very impressive teaching skills. My kid joined dance when she was 4 years old . It is solely because of Usha gaaru that my kid has developed immense interest in dance. Many of the kids who are learning dance from this academy are excelling at Kuchipudi . It is truly an honour knowing and interacting with such great guru 🙏
